The shooting starts at midnight. Zombification hits billions fast and
hard, leaving only a handful of citizens unturned in each city. The
strange marks that appear on the survivors lead to the discovery that
the seemed zombie apocalypse is nothing short of a science fiction
horror. But for the four main characters of the story – a truck driver, a
linguist, a conspiracy theorist, and a Mormon missionary – the goal is
not only to survive, but to make a complicated and frightening journey
home, along the lonely I-35 Corridor.
